My niece and I absolutely lovedddd it! She's 10 months and occasionally loves her books, but this one, she wouldn't take her eyes off from front to back! The colors were so intriguing to her, along with all the characters that looked just like her :) The inclusivity enough did it for me, but the storyline was so creative and provided the perfect learning experience for colors, cultural references, and learning word association. It was a joy for me to read myself, but especially for her. I hope you love it just as much as we do! Can't forget a big thank you to Fatuma! It shipped quickly in the cutest packaging, thank you :) will definitely be coming back!

I subscribe to her monthly book picks, so I usually get one of those, but what’s so cool about Tuma’s monthly book club is that if you are not feeling the monthly titles you can pick anything else from her curated selection. I found this book (Looking for Smoke) there and probably would have never picked it up otherwise! A great YA thriller for fans of “One of Us is Lying”. Whether it's a book that's been on my tbr for way too long, or a totally new-to-me book I didn't know I needed in my life, I get so excited to see what she sends every month. I love being a subscriber to Tuma’s books! She has introduced me to so many books that I had never heard of that were 5 star reads! A few of my recent faves are Breathe & Count Back from Ten, Lizards Hold the Sun, and Flirty Little Secret. She offers multiple different genres every month and the representation is truly diverse. It might not be as cheap as Amazon or Target, but it is so much better!!

I love that even though it’s laminated it doesn’t feel like something that could easily bend or get damaged.
