Free Returns, Refunds, & Exchange/Money Back Guarantee
Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused/unread and in the same condition that you received it. You can initiate returns online by putting your email address on this page, or email us at info@tumasbooks.com with your order number. We will email you a pre-paid shipping label.

To be eligible for a refund (without return), your item must be damaged upon arrival to you or missing based on tracking information. To initiate a refund, email us at info@tumabooks.com. If your item is damaged, please attach photographs to your email. 

You refund will be returned to the original method of payment or a store gift card if the original payment is no longer valid.

To be eligible for an exchange, follow the same steps as for a return. Include your preferred exchange item (of equal or lesser value) in your email. Once original item is on its way to us, we will ship your new item, minus return shipping costs.


Non-returnable items:
- No returns for Used Books (refunds only for books that do not arrive in the condition stated in the product description).

- No returns for Monthly Diverse Reads titles unless incorrect title is accidentally sent to customer or books arrive damaged.

- Mystery Date with a Book items are final sale and not eligible for returns unless damaged on arrival.

Non-refundable items:

- Gift Cards, final sale.

Please do not send products back to supplier/manufacturer.


Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a store credit for the value of your return. Follow same steps as above to initiate a return. Once the returned item is received, a gift card will be sent to you via email.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he/she will find out about your return.
