Join Tuma and like-minded readers virtually for a relaxing hour of reading together. Bring your current read or a TBR you'd like to finally begin (such as your March Diverse Reads, Mask of the Deer Woman) and join us on Google Meet for some reading time. 

We'll begin with 5m to introduce d ourselves, settle in, and get snacks ready. Then, we'll read for 45 min with nice lo-fi music in the background, and finally end with 10m of discussion/reflection based on a prompt before wrapping up for the night.

The National CARES Mentoring Movement with Kay Bell @bronxpoetlaureate and @official.ympj presents Voices of Our Community — a community art showcase celebrating and amplifying voices of our youth currently enrolled in the National CARES Mentoring Movement’s culturally anchored RISING Program as well as local vendors like @brunchatzions, @mckenziecreation, @squarerootsnj, @tumasbooks, and MORE. 

WHEN: Saturday, April 26th, from 2-6 PM 

WHERE: The Soundview Economic Hub (across the street from CubeSmart — 1425 Bruckner Blvd.)

It’s an outdoor event under the Bruckner, so we’re good rain or shine. Open to all ages so come through!
